DRIVER'S TRAINING L&L Driving School has Segment 1 and Segment 2 driver's training classes open for fall. Segment 1 classes start September 21 and November 2. The cost is $550. Audition for SHS Fall Play Audition for SHS's Fall Play: The Wizard Delivers (and pinky stays the course) Play Auditions will be held on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH at 3PM in the Choir Room, 173. Please sign up for cast or backstage crew outside of Ms Van Almen and Mr. Gitelman's room in the music wing, and begin reviewing the provided packet. On audition day, you'll fill out a form and read for many different characters. Contact Ms Van Almen at mvanalmen@sturgisps.org or Mr. Gitelman at egitelman@sturgisps.org with questions.
Powerpuff Game Mark your calendars! The Powderpuff game will take place on Sunday, September 27th at 5:00 pm. Cost is $1 for students and $3 for adults. Come support your class!
Homecoming 2026 Hey SHS! Homecoming is almost here! Here are the themes for Homecoming 2026: Holidays Seniors: Halloween; Juniors: 4th of July; Sophomores: Christmas; Freshman: Valentines Day.
Homecoming Dance Guest Passes The homecoming dance is scheduled for October 3rd, from 7 PM to 10 PM. If you wish to bring a guest, please pick up a guest form from the main office starting 9/14. These passes must be submitted by September 25 at 3 PM. If you have any questions, stop by the main office.
Dual Enrollment & EMC Winter semester course scheduling appts are available 9/11 and 9/14 in guidance. All interested students should speak with Ms. Duelge in guidance or email her at xduelge@sturgisps.org
Big Buddy If you received an email from Mrs. Campbell inviting you to join the Big Buddy program you have to attend ONE of the mandatory training sessions: Thursday 9-10-26 from 6:45-7:20 AM Friday 9-11-26 from 2:45- 3:20 PM Monday 9-14-26 from 2:45-3:20 PM Tuesday 9-15-25 from 6:45-7:20AM Training will take place in the media center. For the morning dates please enter through the doors by Mr. Larr's room.
Attention LEO CLUB is starting up again! Join us for some fun giving back to the community. We will meet on the 4th Sunday of each month at 5:00 at Wenzel School. Our first meeting is September 27th. Homecoming Class Shirts HOCO Shirts will be on sale for $10 during both lunches from September 8th-September 14th.
Key Club Sign ups will be on Wednesday September 16th at 7:25am or 2:35pm in the LGI room. All returning members must sign up again this year and it will only take a minute. New members can come and learn about the club then decide if they would like to join.
ATTENTION NHS CANDIDATES Applications for the National Honor Society are due no later than 3:00 p.m. on September 15, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
